Lamentations of a Chronic Hepatitis B patient Top

"I wish I had AIDS

The Lord of all diseases

Everything would have been free

Free tests, medicines; no fee

But Hepatitis B is what I've got

For which I'm always distraught

Can't even afford the tests

On which the treatment rests

Forget 'bout the treatment cost

My case is all but lost

Untreated I will die

With no one left to cry

I wish I had AIDS

The Lord of all diseases

Everything would have been free

Free tests, medicines; no fee

My father died of cancer

For which doc had no answer

He got it 'cause of Hep B

He gave it to me mebbe

My brother too is dead

So I too live in dread

My life too is condemned

I fear - I too will die like them

My brother too had the bugs,

For which we tried some drugs

We had to sell all we had

And now things are just too bad

I wish we all had AIDS

The Lord of all diseases

Everything would have been free

Free tests, medicines; no fee''
