Subject: Please advice?
Respected Sir,
I am a student (age = 17, class = 12) residing in Darjeeling.
I am chronic hepatitis b infected.
Till now, I have been doing well but I am worried that in future the situation will be the worst.
I don't fear of dying early but I am afraid that my mom and my other well wishers can't endure this shock.
I know she (mom) can't live without me and same with me too.
I am also afraid that I will spread this disease to other innocent people.
These thoughts are making my life a misery.
Since I belong to middle class family, I can't totally afford costly antiviral drug or interferons.
Sir, is there any provision in our government to support financially to the hepatitis b patients (especially, the students)?
Till now, I have been taking green freshly vegetables (cabbage, broccoli, spinach), cereals (rice, beans, rajma, Bengal gram), fruits (lemon = 2, orange, pineapple, pomegranate) and lots of water.
I have totally avoided alcohol, smoke, fatty foods.
Am I doing the right thing?
Sir, is there any chance that I would be cured or live a long life?
Please give your valuable advice.
X Sherpa.
